I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of practical experience. I work closely with you to help you develop insight and recognize unhealthy or unproductive patterns. I assist you in developing confidence and new skills for positive change. My clients are individual adults, adolescents, couples, and families. I see men and women who come from a wide cross section of ethnic groups and cultures. In designing a treatment plan specific to you, sometimes the therapy duration is brief and very solution focused. Other therapy might take longer while you focus on feeling recognition, how your life experiences have impacted you, and how you can find productive ways to process these experiences so that your life today is richer.
My extensive experience includes working as both a therapist and a consultant. I have worked at County Mental Health, Concern Employee Assistance Program, Stanford University Medical Center and Palo Alto Adolescent Services.
I received my B.A. from University of California, Berkeley where I graduated with honors. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California where my focus was working with adults and families. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the State of California, which means I am licensed to provide psychotherapy. My license number is LCS-5731.
